In 1975, McEvoy was hired by John Fairchild as a correspondent for Women’s Wear Daily, based in Paris. For nearly two decades, she reported on European fashion and design for both WWD and W Magazine. After returning to the US, McEvoy held Editor-in-Chief positions at Elle Decor and House Beautiful.A self-proclaimed “crafter”, McEvoy has carved a niche for herself with her whimsical corkillage creations, ethereal leaf collages, and fanciful illustrations, many of which have found their way into the homes of design aficionados and collectors around the world. Marian currently resides north of Manhattan, in a charming cottage on the Hudson River.
