This pair of contemporary pearl earrings with silver hoop and Baroque pearls was designed in honor of Grace Hopper. Grace Hopper was an computer scientist and a United States Navy Rear Admiral.  One of the first programmers of the Harvard Mark I computer, she was a pioneer in computer programming.  She and the rest of the Mark II team helped popularize the use of the term "computer bug" and the related phrase "debug." This pair of earring features a "bug" (moth) on the beautiful rainbow-iridescence pearl.  In a well-told story, a moth was found to be responsible for a malfunction of Mark II computer by Grace Hopper. Baroque pearls are naturally-formed in mollusks, and their finite beauty is derived from the asymmetric and imperfect silhouettes — which then makes each pearl unique, and not one is exactly the same.  The elegant earrings would make a great gift for computer geeks, IT, computer science and engineering graduates. You will be able to leave a gift message in the SPECIAL INSTR
