GoldRush trees produce golden apples with a crisp, almost hard, bite and tart knockout flavor. Apples ripen late in the season, are an excellent choice for baking desserts, making cider and store well for over 6 months. The trees are some of the easiest apple trees to grow. They have resistance to fire blight, scab and powdery mildew. Tree Details: Good for growing zones 5 - 8. (See your USDA zone here) Trees are potted in large 7 gallon root pouch pots 3/4" caliper or greater and well feathered 5 - 6' tall 3 years old Available on two different rootstocks that produce either 50% size (Bud 9/EMLA 111) or 75% size (EMLA 106) trees. See below for details: - Trees grafted onto interstem Bud 9/EMLA 111 rootstock produce smaller semi dwarf trees approximately 50% of standard size. Trees have the strong root system of EMLA 111 rootstock but with the dwarfing size and early fruiting ability of the Bud 9 interstem. - Trees grafted onto semi-dwarf on EMLA 106 rootstock are around 75%
