6" Portland Leg

The Portland leg features a 5 degree stance and a 3-sided taper. These are perfect for cabinets, dressers, vanities, consoles, etc...  They are not recommended for beds or seating. Available in 4 wood species:  Mahogany, Walnut, White Oak and Poplar. Two finish options: Finished or Unfinished. Finished legs will have two coats of clear polyurethane applied to bring out the natural color of the wood. Unfinished legs will be raw wood, sanded and ready for your choice of finish. Poplar is only available in unfinished. It is a good choice for paint or stain.  These legs have been strength tested to 400 pounds. However, if your piece of furniture is wider than 40", you will want to consider using at least one center support to avoid sagging.  Each leg attaches with two screws which are provided. Predrill the screw locations with a 3/32" drill bit before installing the screws.  Dimensions:  6" tall, 6" wide, 1 5/8" thick at the top
