This exceptional teapot by our artist Qing Wu Tang is in a traditional qinghua blue & white glaze, expertly drawn onto a pear-shaped teapot with silver lining around the lid and the spout. The illustration is a reproduction of a famous silk painting by the Ming dynasty artist Tang Yin, 溪山渔隐图 ("Fishing in Mountain Stream Seclusion") which is currently on display at the National Palace Museum in Taipei.
