1840 Farm Cookie Recipe Club

I have fond memories of the cookies my maternal grandmother baked every year for the holidays. She started the prep work, planning, and baking in early November and kept right on baking through to New Year's. She would bake up old favorites and new recipes she would delight us with, placing the week's fresh cookies in a metal baking pan with a lid. I can remember the joy and wonder of sliding back that lid to uncover the homemade cookies she had made to share with us. She
