Trio of Cozy Cables Hats - Wool Blend Fiber

This trio of Cozy Cables Hats were knit by hand here at 1840 Farm. Two of the hats were knit using Raven Black yarn.   One hat was knit with Ballet Pink yarn. They were made using a soft and pretty wool blend yarn that is 20% wool and 80% acrylic fiber. This blend is soft to the touch with a nice stretch to the fibers. This wool blend has the warmth of wool with the easy care of acrylic fibers. It can be washed on the gentle cycle with cold water and tumble dried on the low heat setting. It can also be washed by hand and dried flat or line dried. I am a night owl. When sleep is elusive, I tend to pick up my knitting needles. I knit while Penny Lane snores nearby. The cadence of the knitting needles, the movement of the yarn between my fingers, and the steady sounds of Penny sleeping are such a comforting combination for me.
