1:1 Race Engines - L15B7 Shortblocks These shortblocks are intended to be used with 2016-21 Civic with the 1.5 Turbo engines. Given our great success with the Type R platform, we are able to implement those build strategies to our L15 line as well, to give you the best possible built engine at a price point lower than the competition. If you would like to send in your block to be built instead of using a new block and crankshaft, contact us for a quote. Our shortblocks are built in-house using the best components available for the platform. The CSS option is for those intending on making higher horsepower using 25+PSI of boost.  While the factory sleeves may hold up, the CSS is extra insurance against any cracked sleeves or other failures sleeve related. When going with the CSS, we overbore by 0.5mm. This is to ensure the cylinder walls are square after pressing the CSS billet brace into the block.
