Forgiveness by Camille Riner

Forgiveness is a miniature altered accordion artist book about the quiet and humbling power of forgiveness. It features an image of hands reaching for each other surrounded by the opening of a white blossom. The interior of the book is a digital pigment print from a digital collage of my relief prints and photographs of the sky and a flower. The poem I wrote inside reads: She is scared. Take her hand. Plant the white flower bulb your mother gave you, the one with the large waxy petals. Watch the snowy blossoms unfold, a soft rain of petals, covering everything in a quiet blanket of white.
