Mind Over Matter by Lise Melhorn Boe

I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. I have tried to keep my home a safe place for me to live, but at one point, my house began to make me sick. I had to sleep in our unheated front porch all winter, and find an outside studio in which to work. The painted images in Mind Over Matter were done as a way of imagining myself overcoming the challenge of not being able to live in my own home. It's part of a series of books about our environment's affect on our health, and is a companion piece my other book, Homeless, which can be seen here.
