While sitting at the Weather Desk and looking at various global satellites I often found myself dreaming of going to Australia. Perhaps it was Crocodile Dundee or the simple draw of the wild. Well, while I wait for the chance to one day put boots on the ground, for now this brew allows all of us to enjoy a taste of the outback. Papua New Guinea is in the southwest Pacific Ocean, just north of Australia. This coffee is grown in the northern part of the Eastern Highlands, which is near the central area of the country. This area is full of mountains and valleys, making it a perfect place to grow fantastic coffee. The quality and reliability of this roast leads it to often simply be called PNG coffee.
