100% Trousseau It was 2007 when Burgundy icon Guillaume d’Angerville blind tasted a Tissot Arbois Chardonnay he was wowed. He was so inspired by this wine that he dove into adventure to discover his own slice of this region. Just five years later he had found his perfect location of vineyards in the Jura, and Domaine du Pélican was born. They have already gained a steady following, resulting in allocation for these special wines of distinction and character. The Domaine du Pelican team practices strictly biodynamic viticultural techniques with manual harvests for each vintage.  If the powers that be designated grand cru vineyards in the Jura then 'Béranger' would be the first name on the list. It used to be farmed by Jacques Puffeney, the so-called ‘pope of Arbois.’ Pélican’s Trousseau from there is dark-fruited and earthy, with cranberry, clove, and fresh soil. No new oak is used so the flavors are exceptionally pure.
