Located in Gevrey-Chambertin, one of Bourgogne’s most celebrated and sought after villages, Domaine Le Guellec-Ducouet is a young and exciting voice. In 2018, Michaël Le Guellec and Arnaud Ducouet left their previous lives behind and decided to follow their passions for agriculture, the environment, and wine. Together they built a new domain with parcels from Guellec’s family vineyards, dedicated to producing authentic, high quality wines with as much respect for nature as possible. The pair’s modest 3.7 hectares are farmed with organic practices and no herbicides and have been HVE (‘High Environmental Value’) certified. The site has also been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. All harvesting is done manually and only indigenous yeast is used for fermentation.
