2022 Pepiere Muscadet 'La Pepie', Loire Valley, France

Cuvée of grapes from both the Domaine de la Pépière and others come from a fellow organic winegrowers – average age of vines is 30 years. Vines are cultivated according to organic farming or in conversion – no weedkillers are used; soils are ploughed and scraped; sulphur, copper and various plants, are used to protect the vines, but no synthetics. This citrusy, floral and fresh wine is perfect as an aperitif or with a meal. It’s an excellent accompaniment to shells and crustaceans.
