Another world, another timeWhat would it look like and how would it shine?Would we be different or the same?Would life still be full of strife and pain?Would the stars be brighter and the days be longer, Would the moon still be our night-light singer?Would the colors be richer, or the sounds be louder?Would the air be liighter and the hearts be prouder?Would the trees be greener, the rivers wider?Would the oceans deeper, and the mountains higher?Would the birds be merrier, and the animals friendlier?Would we all be kinder, and love one another?Maybe in this other world, we'd all be a bit more wiseAnd take the time to really appreciate the skies.We'd close our eyes and open our hearts,Knowing that peace and love will never be apart.In this new world, the story of our livesWould be one of laughter and hope, not of strife.So, although we cannot yet see what this other world holds,We just need to remember that it exists in our souls.
