Title:  "San Vicente."  St. Vincent was a deacon in Sargossa, Spain. He preached on behalf of his Bishop who suffered from a speech impediment. He boldly defended him against persecution by the Roman Emperor. St. Vincent refused to burn the sacred Scripture when it was demanded of him in exchange for his release and he suffered every kind of torture for his faith. He was so peaceful throughout that he converted his jailer. He was martyred in 304 AD. His body was thrown into the sea and flocks of ravens defended it from vultures until his followers could recover it. St. Vincent is the patron saint of wine, vinters, and sailors.
