Zinc citrate is a zinc salt form of citric acid. Since salts (not metals) dissolve in water, the zinc citrate is now able to be more easily absorbed and used by the body. 5 drops of HI-Z provides the equivalent of 11.42 mg of Chelated Zinc citrate. Each bottle contains approximately 600 drops and is about a 4 month supply for one person.  It is advised to not take daily Zinc suppl
