Chenille Letters For Letterman Jackets, Sweaters and Blankets Chenille has a rich history going back over 50 years. All of our products are made to resemble those original awards letters that have been held with tradition over the years. These are our standard 6" chenille letter patches for letterman varsity or junior varsity jackets.  These letters are often used for other applications as well.  Each letter is crafted based on your color requirement from the colors shown on the color card. Unless these letters are placed on sweaters, each letter is made on two pieces of material - back material matching the jacket and the top material matching the chenille color.  Line-up color generally matches the back material color but that is not a requirement.  Each letter has an additional .46" of material on each side for contrast in color and for sew down.  With the extra material, each letter will be 6.92" tall and actual width will vary depending upon the letter.  Select your color and lett
