Vancouver SkyTrain, 2024

The Vancouver SkyTrain was born out of the 1986 World's Fair, otherwise known as Expo 86.  The theme of Expo 86 was transportation - ironically, at the time Expo 86 was awarded, Vancouver had no rapid transit system.  For that reason, Vancouver had to find a rapid transit system fast.  The Canadian federal government was willing to shell out, but Ottawa insisted that a Canadian-developed technology had to be showcased.  The automated SkyTrain, using a system designed by the Ontario provincial government, was the result. - Designed in New York City, printed in Nashville, Tennessee. - Printed on satin finish 80# cover stock - 220 GSM. - Image will be printed with a border for framing. - Please allow five business days for production before it gets shipped out. - Free standard shipping within the US, reasonable flat rate shipping to Canada.
