Description: In some African tribes, India & also Iran, clay pots are used as percussion. The clay pot, partly idiophone & partly aerophone, is the same pot that has traditionally been used for carrying & keeping water but has also had the primary function of a musical instrument. Despite its simple shape, it has significant capability in playing various kinds of rhythms. Inspired by these instruments we have made the Juju drum. Juju means Full, to describe the rich and full sounds of the drum. It was designed to produce amazing rhythms. Our objective is to introduce the drum as widely as possible by producing them with highest musical quality and offering them to those interested in these instruments, the percussionists in particular. All drums are hand sculpted in Turkey.
