The Blues Brothers

In June of 1980, the movie The Blues Brothers hit theaters and became a national hit. It is still one of the top grossing movie musicals of all time.  In addition to having an amazing cast of musical icons, it solidified Chicago as the “Home of the Blues.” Designed by local Chicago artist Joe Mills, this T-shirt is perfect for any Chicago blues fan. As is typical for a Joe Mills design, the phrase “Blues Brothers” can be found inside the graphic. Fun Fact-The Blues Brothers movie held the record of most cars destroyed during a movie production (103) for 18 years. That record was broken by a “sequel” Blues Brothers 2000 by 1 car. A shame as the latter movie does not deserve to be “greater” in any way than the original, as to call the sequel a stinker would be offensive to stinkers all over the world.
