Producer Description Aromas of mixed spices, praline and spiced orange harmonising with rich, deep notes of Oloroso Sherry. Palate : Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with Sherry and Oak. Full bodied and creamy. Finish : Robust and intense with bitter-sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak. Aberlour single malt whisky is named after where it’s made. It means ‘the mouth of the chattering burn’ in Gaelic, and this wild mountain stream is part of the Aberlour story. The sweet, pure mountain springs were believed by the Celts to whisper secrets, and the Druids prized them as having healing powers. It was here in 1879 that philanthropist James Fleming founded the distillery, and ever since, Aberlour has used these legendary waters to create its whisky.
