Antonio Madeira, an under the radar ,talented winemaker, is a rising star.In the Dao region of Portugal. Originally born in Paris, he established his winery in 2010. Quickly , Antonio emerged as a leader of the natural wine movement in the region. He uses more than 45 different grape varieties, farmed organic. He is a small grower in the  Dao, focusing on producing top quality wines from some of the regions best terroir. This elegant red wine reveals ripe blackberry aromas, violet undertones and dried herbs. The palate is medium bodied with integrated fruit, savory flavors and French oak. A blend of touriga nacional, tinta roriz, jaen and alfrocheiro. Balanced with lots of freshness, makes for a nice chillable red wine.
