Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, bittersweet chocolate and licorice flavors are encased in a sheath of elegant tannins that slowly drop away into a long, smooth finish.  Winemaker Description  The barrels has an extremely special toast, medium toast for a long time at a very low temperature, in order to obtain the perfect marriage with the Tempranillo variety. Attractive on the nose with aromas typical of the Tempranillo variety, rose petals, red fruit and liquorice accompanied by mineral notes and sweet spice.  On the palate notable presence of fruit and liquorice combined perfectly with the chocolate note from the American oak giving a mocha character. Perfect with smoked and salted dishes, red meat, roasts and Iberian cured meats.
