Winemaker Description  Clemens Busch and his wife Rita took over the family business in 1984 and since have shaped it into one of the most iconoclastic estates in the Mosel. A firm believer that natural practices in the vines and cellar lead to the ultimate expression of terroir, Clemens exemplifies the balance between tradition and forward thinking we so look forward to when seeking out new producers. The aromas on the nose are full of white flowers, ripe peaches, and lemon zest. On the palate the wine shows a brilliant dance between sweetness and acidity, which makes it incredibly lively. A smoky mineral character comes along with ripe yellow stone fruits, peach blossoms, and a juicy finish which is intense and elegant.
