Winemaker Description  The Domaine Humbert Frères Vieilles Vignes Fixin is structured and concentrated is this Domaine Humbert Frères Fixin. The pinot noir comes from old vines that are on average over 50 years old. Aromas of raspberry and spice, plus a light green note. Sweet and smooth on the palate, with aromas of red fruit, complicated by smoky bottom notes. Finishes with good length and lighter tannins than most fixins. The brothers Emmanuel (Manou) and Frédéric Humbert are the fourth generation of wine producers of the Humbert family estate. They took over the estate from their parents in 1989 and have steadily improved the quality of their wine ever since. Their wines are highly sought after and excel in harmony and balance.
