Expert Review - Vintage 2023  Neal Martin writes:  The 2023 Régnié, matured 50% in foudres and 50% in used barrels with 100% whole bunch, is quite backward on the nose and needs encouragement in the glass, but opens gradually with wild strawberry, raspberry and light wilted rose petal scents coming through. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red berry fruit, gentle grip and a sapid orange rind-tinged finish. Very fine.  Drinking 2026 to 2033.  - Vinous 91 James Suckling writes:  A lively, precise, succulent and energetic gamay. On the nose it exhibits dried raspberries, forest floor, stones and white peppercorns. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and crisp acidity. Focused, vivid, bight and succulent, with a silky texture and a long, flavorful finish. A lovely mineral touch on the aftertaste. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.  - James Suckling 94
