Michel Guignier Beaujolais 2022 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022 James Suckling 92 Points | Very bright with plenty of lemony freshness on the nose. Very straight and clean on the medium-bodied palate, with a pronounced chalky minerality. Long, crisp finish in which the lemon and chalk notes are exactly matched. From vines growing on a clay-limestone soil. Bottled unfiltered. (2022). Allan Meadows writes: Very pretty, even perfumed, and highly expressive nose freely reveals its aromas of plum, dark gamay and a plenitude of spice elements. The delicious, round and pliant middleweight flavors possess good vibrancy that carries over to the dusty, slightly raspy and ever-so-mildly drying finish where a hint of warmth slowly emerges. This is attractive in its fashion though it would be fair to observe that the balance isn't perfect. Even so, for $19 it still represents fair value. - Burghound
