May I present just such a wine, the 2022 Speri Valpolicella Ripasso, made from organically grown grapes. In the glass, the aroma brings forth a beautiful dark fruit bouquet with notes of chocolatey cappuccino and licorice vying for your attention. In the mouth, the wine glides effortlessly on the palate with velvety richness and smooth supple tannins, finishing long and elegantly.  Perfectly balanced without a trace of heaviness, this is a wine that provides pure hedonistic drinking pleasure without challenging us to decide if it's the right wine or not.
