Ver Sacrum GSM Los Chacayes 2022 750ml

Winemaker Notes Ver Sacrum (Sacred Spring) GSM is from the Uco Valley about 2 hours drive from Mendoza into the higher mountains.  GSM is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre or Garnacha, Syrah and Monastrell whether you use French or Spanish names for the grapes.   The blend produces a wine that is leaner and "Rhone like”  very different from the Malbecs produced in Argentina. 70% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah, 15% Monastrell co-fermented. A cool, semi-carbonic maceration lasts 8 days.
