Built from the same high quality, impact resistant cast acrylic (1/8"), Clear   that has the very best optical quality of any material.  Attached with Dual Lock 3M fasteners that hold the protector about 0.203" (13/64") off the housing. This actually gives more protection to the housing. Easily removed and replaced for cleaning.
