Zim Zim Gemstone Earring

The Zim Zim Earring was one of the first designs we created at 7&Sun, back when the brand began as a side project in 2016 — years before evolving into a full-fledged business in 2020. Five years later, we’ve revived the style in a fresh palette of our favorite gemstones: conical crystal quartz suspended from a gem-knotted hammock of garnet. Inspired by Talking Heads’ I Zimbra—an homage to Dadaism—two columns of knotted opal and shell echo the playful rhythm of the song’s joyful, nonsensical beat.
