This collection of gothic 8-bit sound effects has weapon samples like whips, axes, daggers, boomerangs and holy water, painful events such as enemy hits & kills and player damage & deaths, getting items like hearts, weapons, money and crosses, and special effects like becoming invincible, stopping time, and racking up points. Each sound effect is provided with several closely related variations, giving you alternate sounds that keep the same character and function. All sounds are created from scratch using original synthesis and sound design techniques, capturing the character of the original hardware without sampling or copying any game audio.
