Art Deco Austrian 18k Diamond and Ruby Scrolling Panel Link Necklace
A simply stunning Victorian revival diamond and ruby necklace from the Art Deco(ca1930s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k gold, this incredible necklace features 32 ruby and diamond links. Three styles of links alternate down the length of the necklace, with two larger links that are each separated by a smaller, bezel set diamond link. The larger links feature either two diamonds and a ruby or two rubies and a diamond bezel set in striking panels accented with a scrolling motif. The rubies, which are unheated stones most likely from Burma, are mixed between oval, round, and step cuts and have an approximate weight of 5.50+ctw. The old mine cut diamonds exhibit F/G range color and SI1-VS1 range clarity with an approximate weight of 9.00+ctw. The push clasp of the necklace is hidden within one of the links and is secured with a figure-8 safety catch.
