Yamaha SG-5A MIJ 1970 Sunburst Vintage Made in Japan w/ Hard Case

This is a very hard to find made in Japan vintage Yamaha SG-5A that plays and sounds great! This one has the unique Flying Samurai shaped body and the neck feels very comfortable to play. This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard has yellowed significantly from over time and there is a white splotch from an attempt to remove the signature on the guard. The binding around the neck has also yellowed from over time and is chipped in some areas. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the pickup covers are also discolored from aging. The frets are used but still play great overall and the electronics work as they should.  This guitar appears to be all original. Includes the pictured hard case.
