Discovered in a former boudoir of Palais Cardinal, Paris. this jewel was said to have been given to the favorite lover of the powerful c17 French war minister and clergyman, and notorious womanizer, Cardinal Richelieu. Baroque style inspires this beautifully delicate necklace with rose vine detail and a single black rose, accentuated by a with a stunning black Austrian crystal.
