The Cornely machine was at the core of the industrial revolution in England in the 1800s. It machinated the chain stitch, a technique that creates the most fluid lines in embroidery. Our version is on silk, with lace and three-dimensional flower appliqués, and of course, with beading. Ironically, this technique is slowly disappearing, but we think it’ll make a comeback. Dry clean only.
