[[start tab]] About This Rug Named after tribal geometric rugs from the Caucasus, specifically Quba in northern Azerbaijan, this soumak version is very handsome. These soumak rugs are made with new Zealand wool and handwoven in India. They’re very sturdy and hard wearing, plus they are reversible! Soumaks are great anywhere, but many of our customers like to put them under their dining room tables because they are a flat weave with none of the “resistance” to chair movement that a pile carpet might have.
