
Emerald Lemon Ginger Green Tea
Our decaf Sendai Lemon Ginger green tea has been so popular with our decaf tea drinkers that we decided to create a regular version of it. Since we used a decaf Sencha for the original we decided to try our regular Sencha for this, but thought it might be a good idea to try several different green teas just for comparison. In doing so we stumbled upon a real gem! Our Pan Fired Darjeeling green tea was the hands down winner in our taste tests. We are positive that you are going to love this jewel of a tea! This attractive--no, elegant--well-made tea has small, delicate leaves in lovely hues of golden-green and sea-green. with an abundance of silver tips (a quality that is very rare with other Darjeeling green teas.) The leaves are well-twisted and rolled, both wiry and silky to the touch. The sweet, faintly vegetal aroma of the dry leaf suggests carrot and squash with a touch of spinach.
