Ye Qin--Ruyi with Cloud Shoulder

Yun Jian Ruyi (Ruyi with Cloud Shoulder) is a form style created by the most known Yixing teapot artist in recent history, Gu Jing Zhou (1915-1996). Ye Qin pays homage to the grand master by taking the form only a tiny bit further, refining only the proportion, curves, and defining a touch better the details of the appliqués and carvings. A matt surface qing shui ni* is chosen to balance out the extravagance in ornamental elements.
