AVFKW x Zoë Scheffy - Summer Afternoon Shawl Bundle

"The Bay Area stays cool and breezy along the shoreline in the Summer. Days are a mix of bright sun, afternoon warmth, and the occasional chill in the shadows. Wrapped in a soft, airy shawl, Summer takes on a cozy feel, like a gentle hug or the smile you get when holding a warm mug with an afternoon drink."- Zoë Scheffy ~~~ The Summer Afternoon Shawl pattern is worked lengthwise with short rows over a series of unique mock-cable stitches, giving the shawl a gentle curve and slightly more width at the center of the shawl. Soft Current, made of suri alpaca and silk, falls in gentle curves, soft and fine and full of drape. In this design, Zoë chose to hold it double, using one strand each of Autumn Light and Meringue, to create a fluffier fabric. Though as you can see from the photos, the fabric is still incredibly lightweight, allowing light and air to pass through.
