The Garden Party Coasters are easy to make and a wonderful way to use small amounts of extra special fabrics - such as the Liberty of London and Verb naturally-dyed fabrics and floss featured in our photos and included in the Garden Party Coaster bundle. Based upon the classic 9-patch quilt block, this design is simple and a wonderful way to try patchwork if you are a beginner. You do not need a sewing machine, you can easily sew these coasters by hand. Kristine designed these to be scrappy, so allow your creativity to run free, each coaster can be unique.
