Cochineal 100% Wool Worsted Weight Natural Dyed Yarn

Dyed naturally with Cochineal. Incredibly soft 100% worsted weight wool yarn, from our own sheep, Kit Kat & Lexy. Our sheep, bred especially for their soft fiber are Romney, Finn, Corriedale and Border Leicester crosses. These animals are raised sustainably on our small, women-run farm in western Maine. The fiber is processed and then spun at a Maine Fiber Mill. This yarn may include slight tonal variations. Most 200-yard skeins of yarn include a picture of the sheep who grew the wool.
