Charlotte's Web Literature Unit
Lesson Intentions: The "Charlotte’s Web" Literature Unit includes vocabulary words and follow up work on each chapter reading. Materials: This literature unit includes 31 pages of work, a book(s), a work journal, colored pencils, and a pencil sharpener. “Charlotte’s Web” is a heartwarming story about friendship, loyalty, and the power of words. The story follows a young pig named Wilbur and a clever spider named Charlotte. Wilbur, the runt of the litter was rescued by a strong-minded girl named Fern rescued him. Wilbur is eventually moved to her uncle’s farm, where he feels lonely until he meets Charlotte, a kind spider who becomes his friend. Charlotte attempts to save Wilbur by spinning words into her web like “Some Pig,” “Radiant,” and more. Thi
