"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." (Deut. 6:4, ESV) DESCRIPTION God knows we can be forgetful. He also knows that our forgetfulness tends to lead us away from Him and toward other things that leave us empty, dissatisfied, and worst of all, far from Him. Forgetting God is a lonely place to be.  We want to help our kids remember who God is. And we also want to teach them that despite our frequent forgetfulness, He never gives up on us. He continues loving us, pursuing us, and revealing Himself to us. And He does this primarily through His Word.
