Motion sensors use passive infra-red (PIR) technology to monitor for a variety of different needs. The 60° beam width is best for use in typical security types of monitoring. Human bodies or med/large sized animals can be detected at a range of up to 5 meters, alerting you when someone (or something) is where it shouldn’t be. Use the 100° version of the sensors for tracking applications.
