A lid is required as they tend to jump. One can be placed in a 30 gallon, but a group of Zebra Bar Gobies need plenty of swimming room and should be in a 75 gallon or larger. Only mix with other peaceful fish. These guys are hardy and will accept prepared foods. They provide a great amount of movement to the top layer of the tank.
