The sling, comprising of a hand-tooled embossed leather saddle hide, depicts among other Incan symbols, Supay - the Incan god of death and guide to the afterlife.Angel Pazmino is an Ecuadorian furniture maker who has, in recent years, earned world-wide acclaim for his unlikely merging of pre-Columbian American and Mid-Century Modern design elements into his works. Born in 1926, Pazmino began his woodworking career in 1944 as a cabinet maker.
