Dip Dye Lumbar Pillow

The unique design and coloration of these pillows is produced by the rope dyeing technique, also known as jaspe or ikat, that has a deep rooted history in Guatemala. Jaspe weaving began more than 100 years ago, based on blue and white dyes made exclusively from the local indigofera plant.Rope Dye is a very tricky process as it involves matching colors along the warp of the fabric as opposed to the weft so is more technically advanced and time consuming.
