The Neurologic Patient Has a Pelvic Floor: How to Address Bowel, Bladder & Sexual Concerns

DESCRIPTIONPatients with neurologic conditions have their fair share of bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction that does not always get addressed during rehabilitation. There are evidence-based education and interventions that are available to this population to improve overall quality of life and prevention of secondary complications. This webinar will provide healthcare professionals with the tools to improve their understanding of changes to bowel, bladder and sexual function in various neurologic conditions. We will outline the ability to refer and collaborate with our pelvic health colleagues and other providers and provide interventions in various settings to optimize patients function in these areas.
